My name is Journei Samuels; I am a Towson University alumna. I graduated with degrees in Psychology and Sociology & Anthropology with a Concentration in Criminal Justice. During some of my time at Towson, I served as the Vice President of the Pre-Law Society, where I further developed my passion for advocacy and the legal field.
I have been interested in pursuing a career in law in since I was in high school, which was driven by a deep passion for legal justice, rehabilitation and recidivism cycles, and the prevention of wrongful convictions. I am especially passionate about the transforming the legal system into a system that prioritizes fairness, accountability, and meaningful change within communities. I am currently preparing to attend law school in the near future and look forward to creating impactful change within the legal field.
